Gentle Hatha Flow for Canadian Cancer Society

Charitable Class!

This class will be a gentle Hatha practice inspired by the Kripalu yoga tradition. Physical postures, breathing techniques and ending with a deep relaxation this class is suitable for beginning as well as experienced students who enjoy a gentler practice. Please register in advance if possible. All donations for this class will be collected for the Halton branch of the Canadian Cancer Society. Tax receipts will be issued for donations greater than $20

Yoga for Anxiety Workshop with Robyn Bowman

This workshop will guide participants on how to use yoga as a set of accessible tools to manage the physical, psychological and emotional effects of chronic stress and anxiety. We will work with gentle movement to relieve muscle tension, mindfulness techniques and pranayama (breath control) to help focus and ease the mind and restorative yoga to calm the nervous system. This workshop welcomes new and experienced yoga students. Please bring an eye pillow and notebook to this workshop. (Eye pillows are available for purchase if need be).

Sunday Morning Hatha Yoga Workshop with Helen Duquette

During this three hour yoga workshop, Helen will weave a class that allows participants to know and to open themselves in ways that are at first imperceptible externally, but are quite transformative internally. Helen's work can bring a sudden release in the body followed by an appreciative sigh, and we understand that sigh to mean, "something in that moment rang true".

Yoga for Anxiety Class Series with Robyn Bowman

A 4 week series designed to help participants create and strengthen a set of skills to manage the daily effects of chronic stress and anxiety. These classes will include gentle yoga, breathing and mindfulness techniques and calming restorative poses. An excellent follow-up class series after the Yoga and Anxiety Workshop. New students are welcome.
