On-Demand Classes

We are pleased to offer to our wider community the opportunity to join our CSY Video On-Demand membership.

When you join our membership, you will have access to unlimited streaming of our video classes ranging from 5-minute guided meditations to 75-minute movement classes.

Our library will grow monthly with new classes ranging from Beginning to Intermediate Yoga, Gentle and Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Guided Meditations, Therapy Ball Practices as well as Pilates and Functional Movement & Strength Explorations.

Our classes will serve the home practice needs of seniors, beginning and all levels students.

These CSY On-Demand classes are for you if...

  • you find it difficult to arrange your schedule to attend studio group classes
  • you spend weeks away travelling for business or pleasure
  • you need to stay home for medical reasons
  • you want to add home practices into your week in addition to your group classes
  • you want the flexibility of online classes and the ability to practice at any time and anywhere
  • you are interested in a mindful practice that explores building freedom and function in the body and mind

Here is a sample of our offered classes:

Strong Standing Balance Practice

This is a short standing balance practice focused on leg strength and functional movement in the hips, knees and ankles. No props are required, however a clear wall may be helpful if you are concerned about balance safety.

Sun Salutations (Variation)

Cheryl guides us through a gentle variation of sun salutations which includes forward bend, lunge, plank, child’s pose and modified cobra. A great flow to add to your day.

Metta Meditation (Audio)

Loving-kindness meditation (sometimes called “metta” meditation) is a great way to cultivate our propensity for kindness. It involves mentally sending goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others by silently repeating a series of mantras.

Restorative Yoga - Supported Chest Opener

In this practice, we will show you how to set up your own restorative supportive chest opener using yoga props or props gathered from your home.

iRest Yoga Nidra (Audio)

iRest Yoga Nidra is a research-based transformative practice of deep relaxation and meditation. This guided meditation is generally practiced lying down or sitting comfortably in group or individual sessions.

Gentle Yoga

This gentle yoga practice will move through movement sequences while reclined on the ground, hands and knees, lunge, sitting and a short standing foot focus. It will explore the side body in a lovely combination of stretch and strength.
