Self-Care Ideas for August

Summer is coming to a close this month, so now is the time to take the opportunity to feed yourself and your soul with all those things that you love about summer.  Living in Canada, we crave these summer months that are filled with sunshine, warmth, and longer days.  We need to immerse ourselves in the outdoors this August, not only to enjoy for today but to soak it in so that it is on "reserve” during the longer darker months of winter.

Get outside and enjoy it!  

Here are a few self-care ideas to add to your month.

  • Wear sunscreen

  • Pick some flowers

  • Hike a trail

  • Enjoy a garden

  • Read a good book

  • Bring your yoga outside

  • Go out for ice cream

  • Sit in sunshine

  • Visit a lake

  • Enjoy the long summer evenings
