Props For Your Home Practice

While props aren’t necessary for a yoga practice, they do come in handy and can be modified.
Props can be used for additional support, steadier balance or create a deeper stretch when settling into yoga poses.
The type of props you will need varies on the type of yoga class.
The props listed below are suggestions and from there you can build your prop library over time.
Many household items can be substituted. Just ask your teacher and get creative!

  • Yoga Tune Up Therapy Ball Pair in Tote

This small set of therapy balls is used for smaller spaces. We love them for our feet, hands, wrists and shoulders.

  • Therapy Ball PLUS Pair in Tote

The medium set of therapy balls is slightly larger and feels great for releasing tension along the spine, along the shins and also the shoulders.

  • Alpha Ball

The alpha ball is the largest rubber ball. It is dense and feels fantastic while releasing the neck or deep into the glutes and thighs.

  • Coregeous Ball

The coregeous ball is sometimes used in our yoga classes as well as a favourite in our therapy ball class. This soft, pliable ball can be used in many ways. We love it under our pelvis, between our shoulder blades and between our legs. It can be inflated or deflated according to your needs.

  • Roll Model Starter Kit

This kit is a complete set and an ideal choice to add to your home props. We will use all of these ball selections in most of our classes. This is the option we suggest if you are starting out.
